Psssht, glug, aaaah!

Hear that? That is the sound of an ice cool beer being cracked open, the first unnecessary one of the summer. Until now our only form of cooling in this fiendishly hot and humid climate have been little floor mounted fans and cold beers (iced tea just doesn't do it!). Now we have air conditioning and beer is a luxury. It tastes mighty fine!

You have air conditioning? That's good to hear...

Another relevant gem from today's Guardian:
'ICE PUB SELLS FROSTY PINT
A landlord served the coldest pint in Britain, after building a bar out of ice. The Tavern on the Green in Crawley East Sussex, sold beer from the bar at a 3C (sic)'
I know it is warmer 'darn Saarf' but not that much to warrant such extreme measures!
